Our Management Plan

Since 1991 we have been on a 6pt or better rule and a liberal doe harvest program.  This has resulted in a large number of 2.5-3.5 year old bucks.  According to our camera surveys we have consistently maintained a 1 to 1 buck:doe ratio which was our goal when we started out.  We are 100 percent fair chase (although i beg to differ that the whitetail has the advantage).  No penned hunts, pen raised deer or gimmies.  We would love to have fields full of 180-200 class bucks but that was not our goal.  Our goal is to promote the sport and provide opportunities for the average hunter to enjoy themselves without taking out a second mortgage on the house.  There are no "trophy fees" and no fines.  If Mouie Grande walks about by all means you better put him down or we'll have your shirttail for supper.  Below are some of the bucks we've been catching on camera along with the ones who got away last year.
